On November 7th and 8th, the WARIFA consortium met in Frankfurt (Germany) for the project General Assembly.

CiaoTech - Gruppo PNO joined with its stand Ecomondo 2023, the benchmark event in Europe for technological and industrial innovation in the field of green and circular economy, which took place in Rimini (Italy) from 7th to 10th November 2023.

The Innomem Project is now entering its fourth year of implementation, and the first 42 months have seen numerous accomplishments towards the development of a sustainable OITB (Open Innovation Test Bed) to foster deployment and scale-up of innovative nano-enabled membranes and their derived products!

Officially launched on October 1st, 2023, the CLEANHYPRO project, focusing on clean hydrogen production, aspires to become one of the most promising and groundbreaking manufacturing pilots in the field. This will be achieved by leveraging advanced characterization techniques, modeling, and complemented by non-technical services through Test Bed pilots.

Making Europe more 'digital' is a major challenge for our generation. This requires not only new technologies, but also a good digital network infrastructure. On the latter topic, a new series of calls recently appeared from 'CEF Digital', a European programme aimed at realising (among others) 5G networks across the EU.

 

Meet in Italy for Life Sciences, the premier Italian event for matchmaking and updates in the field of life sciences, took place online from October 26th to 27th, 2023. This virtual gathering united a diverse audience, including industry professionals, researchers, investors, public institutions, and media, to explore the most cutting-edge solutions, research findings, and business prospects within the dynamic life sciences sector.

On October 27th, 2023, the partners of BIOBESTicide met online for the final General Assembly of the project with the aim of discussing the work implemented in the last six months.

On October 25, 2023, the GLAMOUR consortium convened in Mol, Belgium, to showcase the most recent achievements within the project’s scope. Each partner presented their advancements in the various work packages and shared their plans for upcoming months.

The GLAMOUR project unveils a groundbreaking TRL5-scale prototype, crafted at Eindhoven University of Technology. This innovation seamlessly merges auto-thermal chemical looping reforming with a state-of-the-art Fischer-Tropsch reactor. With three reactors, pinpoint temperature and pressure control, and gas-handling prowess, this system is a game-changer for advanced #chemical processes.

In September, the European Commission presented a brand-new relief package to support Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Europe. Better access to funding is part of the plans, but the proposed ‘SME Relief Package’ is primarily a package of non-financial measures, designed to boost the competitiveness and resilience of European SMEs. What can we expect?

BIOBESTicide embarked on its journey in May 2020, and as we fast approach its end, it's an opportune moment to reflect on the remarkable progress achieved. Over the course of three and a half years, the consortium has not only persevered but thrived in the pursuit of a singular goal: to validate and demonstrate the production of an effective and economically efficient biopesticide.
