UTILE project will join the most important event for the Life Science sector in Italy – the MIT4LS2018 – which will take place in Bologna, from the 10th to the 12th October 2018. UTILE is an EU-funded initiative that provides support to selected projects – funded under FP7 Health and SC1 Horizon 2020 calls – for the valorization of their research results. In the framework of the MIT4LS2018, UTILE will organise and offer selected projects free access to:
- On the 10th October, a workshop and a training session delivered by international experts and dedicated to the following topics: IPR, commercialisation and licencing, access to finance. Pitching training will also be organised to help participating projects improve their pitch to investors and potential partners.
- On the 11th October, Brokerage opportunities where the selected projects will pitch in front of international investors and industry representatives and discuss investment or partnering opportunities with them.
Selected projects will also have the opportunity to meet and network with Healthcare companies participating at the The Italian Healthcare Venture Forum – Bootcamp 2018 (11th October) and will have access to the Brokerage Event organized by the Enterprise Europe Network (10th & 11th October) during the MIT4LS2018 conference where companies, start-ups, researchers, investors and players in the sector’s upstream and downstream activities will have the opportunity to meet and explore/check new collaboration and partnership opportunities for the development of products, services, projects, and distribution and licensing agreements.
In addition, selected projects will be able to participate to the International conference “Digital Transformation in medicine: average is dead!” on 12th October.
