Our Senior Innovation Consultant Jeanett Bolther collaborates in the edX course, in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, on "Transformative Living Labs in Mobility" that serves as an introduction to sustainable and equitable solutions in urban mobility, and to the “living labs” model: a method of co-development among public and private actors, researchers, and civil society to accelerate innovation in climate action and sustainable urban planning and development. PNO gives in this course a lecture on living labs which includes a description of the characteristics of a Living Lab project, including the goals, activities and the importance of stakeholder involvement for co-creation processes, as well as an explanation on the 8 steps of a Living Lab – both at proposal and project execution phase, that includes: Initiation, Development Plan, Co-creative Design, Implementation, Evaluation, Refinement, Dissemination and Replication. The objective of the lecture is to gieve practical advice on how to manage each of the Living Lab phases.
