Last week the GLAMOUR project joined Ecomondo: the benchmark event in Europe for technological and industrial innovation in the field of green and circular economy, which took place in Rimini (Italy) from 8th to 11th November 2022.
The Ecomondo week kicked off on November 8th with a presentation made by The University of Manchester in the frame of the session “Waste as a Resources: innovative technologies for recycling and recovery”, providing a detailed description on the environmental impacts of crude glycerol purification in comparison to energy recovery.
On November 9th, CiaoTech - PNO Group - the partner responsible of the Exploitation and Dissemination task - organized and moderated the GLAMOUR Industrial and Replication Workshop, held with the aim of discussing with stakeholders at industrial level and representatives of neighboring EU projects the process to transform waste glycerol from biodiesel plants into sustainable biofuels for aviation and maritime sectors.
GLAMOUR was also presented in the CiaoTech – PNO Group booth, hosted in the Bioeconomy pavillon (D1/stand 189), where consultants from CiaoTech provided to the visitors more information about the aim and scope of the project.
Finally, on November 10th, the GLAMOUR consortium gathered for the M30 project meeting, which took place with the aim of discussing all the important results and milestones achieved up to the thirtieth month of implementation.
