Our colleague Ana Espert from PNO Innovation Spain participated the last 26 to 28th September in the SmartAgriHubs final event in Lisbon.
During the first day, the results of the project were presented to the consortium, followed by two Synergy Days, where sister projects were invited to participate. More than 350 participants gathered in this event to discuss the benefits, potentialities, and challenges of the digitalization of the agrifood sector. PNO Innovation Spain participated as a speaker in a workshop about Funding opportunities for digital innovations.
Why is SAH project so exceptional? More than 164 partners, and a tight ecosystem of 140 Digital Innovation Hubs within 9 regional Clusters are involved in this 20 € Million agri-food sector project that aimed to develop and growth the digitization of European agriculture.
The SmartAgrihubs involves digitization efforts in 5 agri-food areas: arable farming, livestock, vegetable, fruits, and aquaculture, for a more competitive and sustainable EU agrifood sector.
