The European Commission and the Portuguese presidency of the EU Council hosted the launch event for Horizon Europe on 2 February 2021.
With a final budget of 95,5 billion, Horizon Europe is the EU is most ambitious Research and Innovation (R&I) framework programme ever and the largest transnational programme of its kind worldwide. Horizon Europe through its measures and instruments, as well as the synergies with other EU programmes, will pave the way towards a fair, green and resilient Europe.
