The Fund supports companies that invest in environmental protection, and has the aim of encouraging the adaptation of the Italian production system to EU policies on the fight against climate change.
The initiative finances projects aimed at improving energy efficiency and reducing resource consumption through reuse, recycling, or recovery of raw materials and/or the use of recycled raw materials. It also funds the installation of self-production plants for renewable energy, hydrogen, and high-efficiency cogeneration systems.
Projects must have a value between €3 million and €20 million.
The Fund offers non-repayable grants with variable intensity depending on the applicable state aid regulation and the cost method (additional costs or full costs), ranging from 15% to 60% of expenses.
The call is open to both SMEs and large enterprises operating in the manufacturing and extractive sectors and based in Italy.
The application window will remain open until April 8, 2025. Project evaluation will be based on a ranking system.
