How do we move beyond pilot projects and make circular industry a reality across Europe?
That’s the core question behind a new joint white paper published by the Processes4Planet (P4P) partnership and the Hubs4Circularity Community of Practice (H4CCoP) — and three of our colleagues have helped provide the answer.
Maryam Mirpourian (CIAOTECH), Ron Weerdmeester (PNO Group), and Thomas van den Nieuwenhuizen (EGEN) co-authored the paper, working alongside Christophe Pinck (Eyde Cluster) and Prof. Sebastian Engell (TU Dortmund / ZEDO).
The paper proposes practical mechanisms to scale Hubs4Circularity (H4Cs) — regional ecosystems that drive industrial symbiosis, circular value chains, and climate-neutral innovation.
It focuses on three key areas:
- Blended funding for high-TRL, long-ROI investments
- Enabling policy and regulation
- Organisational and operational support for H4Cs
