On April 3rd, 2025, the CBE JU Info Day was held in Brussels, Belgium, providing a valuable occasion to explore the 2025 call for project proposals. Participants gained key insights into proposal submission and evaluation, call management rules and conditions, and best practices for crafting strong and competitive proposals. The event also featured one-to-one networking sessions, encouraging collaboration and helping participants build connections and lay the foundation for successful proposals under the upcoming call.

Representing CiaoTech-Gruppo PNO, Simona Mincione engaged with industry leaders, researchers, and innovators to explore collaboration opportunities in green chemistry, bio-based materials, and circular solutions, presenting BIONEER and C4B as success stories.

The BIONEER project is pioneering the development of innovative platform chemicals derived from low-cost, sustainably sourced lignocellulosic biomass, aiming to replace fossil-based compounds in personal care and coatings applications.

C4B, coordinated by CiaoTech with PNO Innovation Spain leading exploitation and dissemination efforts, is focused on creating sustainable and equitable business models for farmers and foresters within the circular bioeconomy. By integrating cutting-edge bio-based solutions into rural economies, the project supports the development of new value chains while ensuring long-term impact and economic viability.

As a key player in the bioeconomy landscape, PNO Group drives innovation by applying its expertise in project management, technology intelligence, dissemination, and exploitation to support the success of transformative initiatives like BIONEER and C4B.
