The International Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy (IFIB) 2019 will take place on 03rd – 04th October in Naples and will represent an outstanding Open Innovation opportunity among Universities, R&D companies, service and consulting agency, biotech industry and start-ups.
CiaoTech (PNO Group) and Innovation Engineering s.r.l. will be among the main actors and sponsors of IFIB2019 with the presentation of two ongoing and impressive European projects funded by the Bio-Based Industries Joint Undertaking (BBI-JU) : BIOPEN and EXCORNSEED.
On the one hand Ciaotech, as leading European innovation and grants consultancy, will present BIOPEN project aiming to create an Open Innovation platform exclusively focused on the bio-based field and able to support public and private organizations in the development of research projects on bioeconomy and circular economy. On the other, Innovation Engineering, as software house involved in several Research and Development projects, will show the first results of the stakeholder analysis in the framework of EXCORNSEED made possible thanks to innovative IT tools. This project aims to develop and validate an integrated process of innovative and highly sustainable extraction, purification and concentration technologies to be applied to biorefineries side streams and the stakeholder and market analysis already reached interesting output.
During IFIB2019, the BIOPEN and EXCORNSEED partners will be responsible for the organization of the Bio-Based Networking Event, scheduled for October 3rd from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
This event will allow the participating organizations to present to investors and innovation experts their ideas for innovation and bio-based research project, to meet and know other organizations with whom to jointly develop new products, processes and services in the bio-based field and to acquire information about the innovative IT business intelligence platform adopted in the bio-economy sector.
