
Today, the BIOMODEL4REGIONS project was presented in a round table at IFIB2022, the International Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy held in Bari (Italy), with a speech on "Circular bioeconomy at regional scale: the BIOMODEL4REGIONS project as a case study"
The project aims to support the establishment of innovative governance models at local/regional level and thereby strengthening EU and international science-policy interfaces to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
BIOMODEL4REGIONS is a 3-year horizon-europe project within the area of Innovative governance, environmental observations and digital solutions in support of the Green Deal.
With a budget of €2,5 million and a consortium of 12 partners from 8 different countries, the project is coordinated by Patrizia Circelli from CiaoTech, also managing the PNO cross board sector team leader bioeconomy and agri-food.
