<p><strong>ACI</strong> (<em>Active Communication International</em>) invites proposals for a workshop about <strong>carbon capture and storage</strong> on November 25th 2013, in Doha, Qatar.</p> <p>The workshop will precede the 3° edition of the "<strong>Optimising Enhanced Oil Recovery</strong>" conference, the event dedicated to the optimisation of Enhanced Oil Recovery strategies, with the participation of many key industry players.</p> <p>The following are some of the main topics:<br /> • Government policy & involvement within EOR in Qatar<br /> • EOR application & progress in Qatar<br /> • Reservoir evaluation and characterisation in Middle East carbonate reservoirs<br /> • Monitoring and reservoir management in carbonate reservoirs within the Middle East<br /> • Operational challenges and development strategy in carbonate/sandstone reservoirs & heavy oil<br /> • Gas injection: Feasibility and application<br /> • Thermal EOR: Optimisation strategy & technological development<br /> • Chemical EOR: Advancements and results from industry application<br /> • Research and development in future EOR</p> <p>Members of CCS community can submit proposals within the <strong>7th of June 2013</strong>.</p> <p>If interested, you can write to <a href="mailto:production@acieu.co.uk">production@acieu.co.uk</a>.</p>
