The project, receiving funding in the frame of Horizon 2020 TOPIC EE-18-2015, focuses on the development of new technologies for utilization of heat recovery in large industrial systems. The Indus3Es project will develop an innovative Absorption Heat Transformer to recover the low temperature waste heat, nowadays rejected from industries, due to the low quality of heat and the currently used technologies. Indus3Es will recuperate and valorize about 50% of the current low temperature waste heat, increasing quality of the waste source and reusing it again in the industrial process.
